Students can select one of two minors in philosophy. Here are the requirements for each one:

Philosophy minor

  • 21 semester hours in philosophy courses
  • No more than 12 semester hours of 100-level courses

Applied Philosophy minor

  • 21 semester hours of philosophy courses 

  • 12 semester hours of relevant course options

  • Applied Philosophy Internship (PHI 396)

NOTE: Relevant course options and applied philosophy internships are to be determined in consultation with a philosophy faculty member.
