Our program provides resources designed to help philosophy students attain their degree and engage in meaningful extra-curricular activities.

We offer academic advising for students interested in declaring a major in philosophy and we sponsor student groups to participate in outside the classroom. 

Each year, we select an Outstanding Senior in Philosophy to reward one of our majors for their academic and extra-curricular accomplishments.

PHI Sigma Tau is the international honor society for philosophy. The purpose of PST is

to serve as a means of awarding distinction to students having high scholarship and personal interest in philosophy; to promote student interest in research and advanced study in this field; to provide opportunities for the publication of student research papers of merit; to encourage a professional spirit and friendship among those who have displayed marked ability in this field; to popularize interest in philosophy among the general collegiate public.
